Starting this Thu, Sep 12-29, BK Restaurant Week (BKRW) is upon us. That means you can dine at some of Bangkok’s best restaurants for a fraction of the usual price, with special multi-course set menus priced at just B750 or B1,000++. The Brasserie (Waldorf)

 
The place: Sitting on the upper lobby of the palatial Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, this spot serves up French inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.
Menu highlights: Salmon tartar (B420); pan-seared turbot provencale (pan-seared halibut provencale usually priced at B900); and more.

Bunker

 
The place: The menu at this hip, grungy-chic restaurant is designed by Tim Butler of Eat Me in league with on-site chef Lorin Janita and Nithit “Lenk“ Nithikampol.
Menu highlights: Grilled romaine with parmesan crisps and anchovy dressing (regular price, B350); “mac and cheese” cavatelli with oxtail and breadcrumbs (B800); plus ice cream for dessert.

Charcoal Tandoor Grill & Mixology

 
The place: This sleek and sultry restaurant pairs boldly spiced Indian-style dishes with creative cocktails that perfectly complement one another. 
Menu highlights: Lamb sheikh kebab (B450); ghost dum biryani (mutton marinated in nutmeg flower & natural botanical oils in aromatic Basmati pilao rice; B650).

Enoteca Italiana

 
The place: With head chef Stefano Borra (formerly chef-owner of the one-Michelin-starred Ristorante VO), Enoteca has been among the top of Bangkok’s Italian restaurant scene for all the right reasons: delicate food bursting with traditional flavors, rustic dining room, huge wine list and personable service.
Menu highlights: Tonno vitellato (slices of cooked cold veal in a tuna mayonnaise sauce; B650); marinated wild catch salmon (B790). A four course set menu here would usually cost you B1,800.

Haoma

 
The place: Bold, vibrant, beautifully plated farm-to-table and zero-waste dining in a modern two-story wood house with backyard view. Oh, and it’s the only fine dining venue that allows pets.
Menu highlights: Me in a Bowl (charbroiled chicken, makhani curry, pickled shallots, mint chutney); Nadia (chocolate, cherry sorbet, raspberry, rose jam). A nine course tasting menu is usually priced at B2,390.

The place: Chef Amit Kumar (who has cooked in some of the best kitchens in India) and Dr. Pushpesh Pant (author, TV show host, and a leading expert on Indian cuisine), team up to revive long-lost and difficult to find recipes
Menu highlights: Hara bhara kebab and raw papaya murabba (shallow-fried spinach, green peas, potatoes and cottage cheese cutlets coated with rice flakes; B300); kandhari murgh tikka (BKRW special—similar dishes like chicken tikka normally priced at B380). The five course signature tasting menu would usually cost B1,500.

The place: Local aromatherapy brand Karmakamet is now known for its cute coffee shops and full-scale restaurants with on-trend décor—think old-school medicine cabinets, packing crates and house plants.
Menu highlights: Cold Explosion (salmon roe, cod roe, pickled mackerel, white anchovy, oscietra caviar, avocado cream, melon jelly, melon pearl; B790); American Doughnut (pan-fried Majestic oyster, Manila clams, tiger prawn, capers, sun-dried tomato and balsamic topped with a salted doughnut and calamari; B590); house smoked duck breast (B790).

The place: W Bangkok’s chic all-day restaurant deals in both Asian and Western flavors. Their recently unveiled “Tipsy Cow” menu features sees carefully selected meats treated to stateside cooking techniques, from smoked beef brisket and barbecue pork ribs to burgers and unique dishes like the duck lasagna.
Menu highlights: Beef short rib (B650); duck lasagna (B580); 20-layer chocolate cake (B450).
