On Thursday, Smalls' pop-up series welcomes chef Steve Doucakis (formerly of Bunker and Top Chef Thailand contestant), who will present you his new dining concept, Piseth (meaning “special” in Thai), which will see a menu of seasonal plates using local ingredients all priced at B200. Expect creative flavors that draw on a mix of his stateside childhood and Thai tastes, like the braised beef tongue with Chiang Mai mustard greens and corn miso (B200), or the chicken liver mousse with sourdough and kumquats (B200).
