After the COVID dark ages, 5 Bangkok bars make it to Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022
Things are looking up for the Bangkok nightlife scene.

From an awards ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental, Asia's 50 Best Bars held a live event to announce the winners of the prestigious award on Thursday night in Bangkok.
The only bar in the top 10 was the BKK Social Club at the Four Seasons that opened in 2020, making it the list’s best bar in Thailand. The other bars mentioned were Tropic City, Vesper, Asia Today, and Bamboo Bar.
BKK Social Club: 10 (Best bar in Thailand)
Tropic City: 17 (previously 22)
Vesper: 19 (previously 46)
Asia Today: 43 (new entry)
Bamboo Bar: 46 (previously 11)
There are also four Bangkok bars that made it to the 51-100 list this year: Teens of Thailand (64), Smalls (69), Find The Locker Room (78, new entry), and The Loft (88, new entry).
Also at the event, Colin Chia from Nutmeg and Clove Singapore and also a partner at Find The Locker Room in Thonglor was given an Industry Icon award.
First published in 2009, the World’s 50 Best Bars is an annual ranking from 540 experts across the world. Coa in Hong Kong was named the number one bar for the second year in a row. See the full list here.
