Come for breakfast and stay until you’re four cocktails down late at night.
Previously operated as a pop-up while the construction was underway for three months, now Sukhumvit has a new, permanent Sarnies that you can hang around all day.
You can expect a slate of the usual comfort breakfast options like miso kombu eggs Benedict served with aburi smoked salmon, sautéed leeks and shichimi togarashi (B400); or the sourdough pancakes served with apple miso caramel and house-made granola (B350).
Your favorite sourdough pizza, leopard crust (pillowy dough with black char marks scattered over it like leopard print), also gets to stay on the menu for the entire day—a must-try here is the Land of Milk & Honey pizza with pepperoni, mozzarella, grana padano, stracciatella, and hot honey (B420).
For dinner, see hearty Japanese-influenced dishes like hamaguri vongole: udon noodles with venus clams cooked in sake and a kombu butter broth (B450). Arguably the best dish on the menu, at least according to our last visits, is the black angus short rib, which is smoked for two-days and finished off on an open-fire grill (served with Japanese rice and some pickles on the side, B380/100g). You’ll be able to split one serving between three or four people.
To match the Japanese-influences on the menu, the interior is decorated in minimal light-colored wood, creating a very clean, zen-like vibe for your work-from-cafe Zoom calls while musing over its expansive alcohol menu.
