Chef Jutamas “Som” Theantae of Som’s Table in Hua Hin is doing a four-hand dinner with South American Chef Andre Josef Nweh Severino of Dusit Thani Hua Hin to celebrate Peru’s Independence Day on Jul 28.
The 10-course menu kicks off with the two-bite Oyster Kiss, a street food imitation of hoy tod from chef Som, and a Scallop Quinoa Pop from chef Andre. Guests will also get to experience chef Som’s 10-hour braised beef tongue and Chef Andre's lamb slow-cooked on the grill with corn tamales.
Previously at Karmakamet Conveyance in Bangkok before moving to Hua Hin to open Som’s Table, chef Som serves a carte blanche menu using ingredients from her garden. Chef Andre, originally from the Republic of Peru, approaches his dishes with strong influences from South America and open-fire cooking techniques.
The 10-course menu is priced at B2,700 and for advanced booking only via email: or call 097-287-2442.
